Ralphy is a 9 month old male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel cross Springer. Adorable Ralphy is looking for a new home as his family cannot give him the exercise and attention he needs. They got him 3 months ago under the pretence that he was a full Cavalier but have since realised he has some Springer in his breeding and therefore is a very high energy dog. Ralphy is a typical, friendly and sociable young boy who mixes well with other dogs and currently shares his home with 2 cats. He also lives with young children but we are looking for a home where any children are over the age of 10.
Ralphy has recently suffered from Campylobacter (upset tummy) and is currently on a course of anti-biotics for this. Once treated it is unlikely that this will cause Ralphy any further problems, however he may always have a sensitive tummy and could require a special diet in the future.
Ralphy will need an active home, preferably with someone who has had Springers before and can provide him with the exercise and stimulation that he needs. As he is only a young boy he can become destructive when left alone so will also need a home with someone around for most/all of the day. He can also jump high and will easily scale baby gates and can also get onto work surfaces so his new owner must be prepared for this and help him learn some boundaries.
Poor Ralphy has already endured a lot of upheaval in his short life and desperately needs some stability now. He will make such a fantastic friend.
