Alfie is a 4-5 year old male Pointer cross Springer. He is fostered in Morpeth, UK. He arrived into foster a very shy and nervous boy scared of household noises, having never lived in a home environment before. In just a few weeks, he has transformed into a happy and joyful boy.

“Alfie always greets me with a waggy tail and lots of love (more than my own dogs in fact!). He loves his walks and jumps in the back of the car excitedly when he knows we’re going on an adventure. He loves dogs but is nervous of people he doesn’t know. I definitely think he is Pointer cross Springer, as he does the Spaniel excited spins when he meets a new dog he wants to play with. He does come around to new people quicker now.

He has never shown any aggression to people when scared, he just hides. He has been left at home with both dogs and by himself and he settled well with no signs of anxiety at all. He’s a really lovely affectionate boy once he knows you and at almost 5 years old, he deserves to find his forever family”.

Alfie would be best suited to life with an active family, or as a best mate to someone who likes adventures. We would like to find a forever home for our beautiful boy.

He is an energetic, loving boy who would love a securely fenced garden, where he has lots of play and exercise, preferably with another dog for company. He can be rehome to a home with children over 14 years old.
